"So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good." 1Peter 4:19
The Christian life can be difficult - it may have many challenges, but God encourages us to carry on (Joshua 1:9). We may be tempted to despair or even give up (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) but the rewards of our perseverance can be great. Job had a very difficult life and experiences - but the Lord rewarded and restored much to him (Book of Job) We may not receive all that is promised in this life - however our continued faith is vital (Hebrews 11,12).
We can also use our time to help others in need..
Below are two creative projects you may like to participate in ..
A) Stitch for Syria ~ this is a sewing project designed to show solidarity with those who have lost so much in recent years. Completed patterns must be submitted by the end of this month & will be sent to Lebanon to form a wall of encouragement for those in refugee reception centres..
B) Little Dresses for Africa ~ this organisation accepts on a continual basis, dresses and shorts for children. It also is grateful of basic hygiene / underwear supplies at all times. The goal is to encourage and value children & provide practical assistance which also enables further support/community engagement to be received..
