"You shall not commit adultery." Exodus 20:14

Adultery is a sin which attacks both people and God's design of marriage (Romans 6:23). Marriage is one of the symbols by which He intended to demonstrate His love for the Church and for the world.. (1 John 3:16, Ephesians 5:25) Adultery breaks relationships and families, and wreaks havoc on all affected (Ecclesaites 12:6)
God created us with needs, but He also provides for us.. (Psalm 73:26) and provides a way out of temptation (Matthew 4). Adultery may be physical, emotional and/or spiritual (Exodus 34:14, 1Corinthins 6 19-20). Remarriage is adultery (Mark 10:11) so is cross-cultural marriage (Ezra 10:11).

We can pray the Lord's Prayer to keep us from temptation and evil (Matthew 6:9-13). We can build Godly relationships and communities to provide and protect. We can trust God to guide us as we follow Him (Proverbs 3 5-6)

God strengthens the hearts of those who are fully committed to Him (2Chronicles 16:9)
..and He knows the challenges and temptations we may face.  (Hebrews 4:15)

Look up the following verses:

Romans 8:37, 1Corinthians 6:18, Psalm 34:18

If you are in an adulterous situation.. get out of it and pray for wisdom as you turn from your sin (Acts 2:38)

If you are tempted / weak.. Pray to God for His strength and help (Isaiah 40:29)

If you witness someone else in sin, Pray for words to say and/or actions to take  (James 5:2)
