"We live today in a hostile and fractured world. Everywhere we find a profound sense of alienation. We are alienated from God, hence the spiritual confusion and unreality that many experience. We are alienated from one another, hence broken marriages, violence on the streets, and hostility between nations. We are alienated from the environment, hence the ravages of hunger, poverty, disease and pollution. We are also alienated from ourselves, hence the mental and psychlogical afflictions which cause distress in our lives. It was into such an alienation that Jesus came ..."

God Accepts us!

God intended that we live and in love created us to be in relationship with himself and others. He created us and He wants us ~ and wants us to want Him. God knows we're not perfect but still loves us and is committed to us for eternity. He loves us just as we are, but too much to let us stay the same. When He disciplines, it is for our good; to remind us of truth and restore us into His love.

We Accept God:)

God is the ruler of all, sovereign king and authority. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. God is perfect and His way is always right. He is pure and holy and totally for us. He shows us the best way through His word and guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will never hurt us though He may let us face consequences of sin. God is worthy of all our worship and we choose to submit our lives to Him.

We Accept us *

God designed us and what God has made is good! We are precious to God ~ we may have been hurt and /made mistakes ~ but Jesus has made the sacrifice and provision for our restoration. ..

"O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
You percieve my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down:
You are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
You know it completely, O Lord.
You hem me in - behind and before;
You have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me
Too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
If I settle on the far side of the sea,
Even there your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will surely hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
And the light become night around me,"
Even the darkness will not be dark to you;
The night will shine like the day,
For darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
When I was made in the secret place
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written on your book
Before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
They would outnumber the grains of sand-
When I awake I am still with you.
If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
They speak of you with evil intent;
Your adversaries misuse your name.
Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord,
And abhor those who rise up against you?
I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139

God commands us to love one another ~

When we truly care other people often become more easily acceptable and able to recieve God's love. Accepting others to be as valuable as ourselves ~ as a part of the body of Christ, helps to make relationships where people can belong and grow into all the Lord has for them.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thankyou that you are Lord! I choose you to be my Saviour and thank you for making provision through Jesus death on the cross. I'm sorry for thoughts and ways that do not please you, I turn from them (***) and ask for your forgiveness. Please give me the grace to walk with you a better way as shown in your word through the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
